Design Concept
2020年に始まったコロナウィルスのパンデミックがこれほどまで長引くとは想像していませんでした。石垣島観光も大打撃を受けています。そんなどん底の石垣島ですが、今年は、毎年石垣島に来ていたたくさんの方たちが再び島に戻って来る年になってほしい、という思いをデザインしたのがこのリピートTシャツです胸元の「Ｒ」はＲｅｐｅａｔのＲです。どん底を経由した飛行機が青い海を越えて上昇し、石垣島に戻って来る様(リピート)をデザインしました。一方で今年もまたコロナワクチンの接種を繰り返す(リピート)ことへの不安も袖のワンポイントのデザインに込められています一日も早く、コロナが収束して、また活気にあふれる石垣島に戻ってほしいです。それが石垣島のFREEFOWLSの願いです。
We never imagined that the coronavirus pandemic that began in 2020 would last as long as it has. Tourism in Ishigaki Island has also been hit hard. Ishigaki Island is at such a rock bottom, but this T-shirt was designed with the hope that many people will come back to the island this year. The "R" on the chest is the "R" of Repeat. The design depicts a plane that has passed through "Rock bottom" and is rising over the blue sea, returning to Ishigaki Island. On the other hand, the one-pointed design on the sleeve expresses concern about repeating the corona vaccination this year. I hope that the coronavirus will be under control as soon as possible and Ishigaki Island will be vibrant again. That is the wish of the FREEFOWLS of Ishigaki Island.
